Day 16- Dream House
Because I'm worn-out and not feeling very creative, here is a list of dream home qualities... sorry no pictures...
My dream house would...
*Have some kind of porch/deck/outside space to enjoy
*Maybe be a renovated historic house with a little charm (although.. yes, this is a dream, in the real world we have a budget and want a 2 car garage)
*Have hidden storage for M's junk beloved hunting/fishing gear
*Have a big, open kitchen with room to congregate
*Have a yard for the pup (with a yard service to take care of it)
*Would have a big closet with built-ins
Day 17- What I'm Looking Forward To...
*Buying a house, not a dream house, just one that's perfect for us right now
*Volunteering somewhere again
*The K-State game this weekend with our friends
*The upcoming holiday season
*Getting past the "new girl" stage at work
*Having babies
*Spending more time just the two of us when we finally get moved out
*Having people over to our place again
Life
The house hunt continued tonight with a few new potentials in good areas (yay!). There may be a couple more we want to check out and then, hopefully, we'll be ready to make a decision. I'm excited, but completely exhausted from cramming our last few weeks full! This weekend, we're heading to Manhattan to see the Cats take on Oklahoma State. It's our first trip back since college and should be lots of fun! Well, this girl is pooped out and headed to bed! Goodnight friends!
