Reunion!

This weekend, Matt and I had a fantastic time having mini-reunions with a few of our great friends from Wichita. On Saturday, we met one of my best friends, Emily, and her hubby, Josh for lunch on the Plaza in KC. They were in town for a concert, so it was a perfect time to squeeze in a little get-together. We hit up the cheesecake factory for a yummy lunch date and then decided to take in a movie, Date Night, at the Plaza movie theater. It was an amazing time, walking around enjoying the beautiful day with great friends and good conversation. I wish we got to visit more often, but the time we do have is all the more treasured.

After spending the afternoon with Emily and Josh, we headed to a cookout at our friends, Kyle and Bridget's, where some of Matt's (and my) friends, the Gerwicks, from Wichita were also in town. We had a great time hanging out with everyone, eating yummy steaks and sausage, and reminiscing about old times.... aka the glory days of college. We're already getting excited for Kyle and Bridget's wedding in June when the whole group will be together again! (btw-decided not to be the dork taking pictures at the cookout)

This weekend was just what the doctor ordered! Matt and I really enjoyed spending time with great friends, especially those we don't see often. Hopefully it won't be so long before we see everyone again!
