Thanksgiving

This year, while so many others in our country and in the world are living with less, I'm reminded of how truly blessed we are.  This year, I'm especially thankful for

My husband- We've been through our ups and downs, but I'm so blessed to have him as my partner in life through it all.  He gets me, supports me, and loves me even at my worst.  We've grown a lot in our relationship this year, and I'm excited to see what the next year has in store.

Our Pup- It may seem silly, but I love this little guy!  He makes us laugh when nothing else can and is the best cuddler around.  Having Cayne is a lot of work, but he adds so much fun and humor to life, and without having kids, he's spoiled rotten!

Our families- Our families are AMAZING.  My family, while far away, has been so supportive over the last  year.  This has really blown us away, and we feel incredibly blessed.  Each time we get together is exciting, and we know with whatever is going on, they are constantly thinking of and praying for us, and they're always there when we need them.  M's parents have opened their home to us for the past (almost) year, and for that, we can't thank them enough.  Without that, along with their support and advice, we would not be moved back and moving on with our lives, as we (finally) are now.  Our families are our biggest supporters and we love them both so much!

Our Friends- Whether they're near or far.. old friends or ones we've made along the way, we are so blessed in the friend department.  Our friends often feel more like family.  They support us through all we do and excite with us in our joys.  They are even there through life's tough times.  They keep life interesting, and life wouldn't be the same without any one of them.

Our New House- While the actual purchase is still in the works (I can't help but feel it's not official until we have the keys), we're already so grateful to have a nice house to move into and to be back on our own again.

Our Jobs- This year, we're especially thankful for our jobs.  Mine may not be perfect (although thankfully, M really likes his), but regardless, we're so thankful for these positions and for the opportunity to learn and grown in our careers.

Little Specials- This blog, Diet Coke for me, movie nights, weekends away, McD's breakfast on the weekends, book club, getting to go to K-State games (or at least watch them with other K-Staters), cell phones and g-chat.

We are blessed and God is good!

Happy Thanksgiving! May you all be blessed this holiday season!
